Thamma starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set to release in theaters on October 21, 2025. Ahead of its release, the lead cast sat down for an exclusive interview with IHNS, where they revealed the number of cameos they will be appearing in the film.

While talking to IHNS, Ayushmann Khurrana and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were asked about cameos in the film. In response, the Bala actor said, “What do you think, who can come? We can’t tell, we are not allowed.” (What do you think? Who can attend? We can’t say because we’re not allowed to.)
When he was further pressed, not on who could be seen but on how many cameos there are in the film, Ayushmann laughed and said, “How many cameos?! Three to four cameos. There are three.” (How many cameos are there? Three to four. Definitely three.)
When specifically asked if Stree (Shraddha Kapoor) will be seen in Thamma, both the actors cleverly avoided answering, teasing that fans will find out soon.

Thamma is a romantic horror comedy, serving as the fifth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU). The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in co-lead roles, playing vampires.
The story revolves around a young man named Alok Goyal, who accidentally stumbles upon an imprisoned Yakshasan, causing him to transform into a vampire. However, she soon realizes that her destiny is more complicated than expected, as she is forced to face unexpected consequences.
The story focuses on Alok’s struggle with his transformation, while his father desperately tries to reverse the process while battling sinister forces.
Apart from the lead trio, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Satyaraj, Faisal Malik, Geeta Aggarwal, Rachit Singh in important roles. Additionally, Nora Fatehi and Malaika Arora make special appearances in two songs respectively.
Directed by Munjya fame Aditya Sarpotdar, the film is written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew and Arun Phalara.
