Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge is going to hit the theaters soon. While the film is registering historic advance sales for its paid previews, fans are still waiting for its full advance sales to begin. And now, we have an exciting update on this.
IHNS has exclusively learned that full advance booking for the first day and the entire opening weekend of Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to begin tomorrow, March 14. This will be approximately 5 days before its worldwide theatrical release. It should be noted that there is a dispute going on between the distributors and the national chains, which is why the full advance is getting slightly delayed. Sources say the agreement is expected to be finalized by tomorrow, after which the avenues for advance funds will open and only then the actual action will begin.
The trade fraternity expects the film to take off pre-sales brilliantly on the opening day and weekend, which will ultimately set a new benchmark for upcoming Hindi releases. Since its Wednesday previews are heavily frontloaded, there may be some hiccups in the early days of pre-sale. But the craze and publicity of the film is at such a level that it can surprise anywhere in its pre-booking. For those unaware, the film has already sold around 2.50 lakh tickets for paid previews across the top two national chains, PVR Inox and Cinepolis. The film is looking to close the previews at around 3.50 lakh tickets, with an eye on 4 lakh tickets as well.
