IHNS has learned exclusively that the next of Suparn Varma with Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam was titled Haq, and the film is inspired by an incredible true story.

A sharing source, “Haq was produced by Junglee Pictures in association with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios. It is based on the judgment of the Supreme Court of Landmark of Shah Bano vs Ahmed Khan – a case that rocked the nation. The exact details were kept under the Wraps, but the controversial theme and the procedure of the courthouse have the potential to arouse a public discourse. ” The film marks the return of Yami Gautam to real space again after the success of article 370 and will be his first collaboration with Hashmi Emraan.
