Janvi Kapoor to work alongside Ram Charan in Peddi
Addressing IHNS, Janhvi Kapoor expressed his thrill of working with Ram Charan in Peddi, doubling the praise of the RRR star.
Depending on his own words, “I have fun on this film. He is a very different and interesting character. I think Buchi Babu is such a rooted director. I mean, Uppena is a superb film. He has a big vision, and he pushes you a lot. I think the character he has for me … I don’t feel like a conventional heroine.”
“I’m just very lucky to be on the set. I love Ram Sir, it’s a gentleman. It is such an incredible energy … A person so diligent and sincere. He is a huge star, but he comes to the set like a student. I can’t wait to come back to this set,” concluded Janhvi.

Peddi is a next drama of sporting action with Ram Charan in the main role. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film takes place in the context of a village, with a cricket tournament in his heart.
With Janhvi Kapoor playing the main female role, the film marks his second adventure in Telugu cinema, following Devara: Part 1 with Jr. Ntr. The cast also includes the actors Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu, Jagapathi Babu and several others in key roles.
The musical songs and the scores are composed by Ar Rahman and will be published in theaters on March 27, 2026.
