Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are preparing for the release of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari this weekend. In an exclusive interview with IHNS, Janhvi revealed that his mother and the late legendary Sridevi actor were a big fan of Govinda and his comic timing.
When Varun and Janvi were asked about their favorite actors in the comic strip space, the actress of Dhadak said: “I think we both have the same answer – Govinda and Mom (Sridevi).” Janvi added: “Mom was actually a big fan of Govinda. She liked to look at her comedy and how physical he was with her and the timing. ”
The actress pointed out that Sridevi was watching a lot of Govinda films, and each time one of her films was broadcast on television, she used to laugh and have a good time. In addition, she added: “I think mom had a lot of comical time in her.”
Varun Dhawan agreed with Janhvi and added the names of Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan to the list. He recalled how he liked to watch each film Akshay Kumar-Priyadarshan in the post-2,000 era.

Kapoor, later, recalled how his mother reacted to watching Varun Dhawan in Judwaa 2. The actress said: “I have memories looking at Judwaa in the theater, which ironically also published on October 2. Delighted.

Varun and Janvi collaborate for the second time. Their upcoming business is a romantic comedy drama and is expected to be released on October 2, 2025. Earlier, they worked in Bawaal de Nitsh Tiwari.
