Whatever changes were made were made by me personally. They only asked me to cut 3 shots. They said, ‘We love the film. We don’t want to cut anything in it. We think it’s a really important film. We’re giving you an adults-only certificate. Even today, with an adult rating, you can’t have nudity and profanity.
Kanu further added, “They asked me to cut 3 nudity shots. I was able to talk to them about two and explain its importance. Accordingly, I made small changes. So, what was removed was 1 shot. Abuse was also removed, which I didn’t oppose because I didn’t want to fight that battle because it’s a huge structural question. Other than that, the committee couldn’t do anything about it. They were really clear about it and I appreciated that.” Of.”
