Yesterday, on April 2, film exhibitor and distributor Akshay Rathi posted a story in which the actor can be seen enjoying the film. After some time, he also posted a picture in which R Madhavan is seen posing with Akshay Rathi and some more friends in the lobby of Chitra.
After the story and post are uploaded, Talked to Akshay Rathi. He said, “R Madhavan was keen to know how the audience was reacting extreme revenge. That’s why we chose Chitra Cinema. It attracts people and also, its sound, picture quality and seating arrangement are top class.”
Akshay further added, “We knew that if people realized that R Madhavan was sitting among them, it would become an issue, especially since we had no security personnel or bouncers with us. So, we entered the theater a few minutes after the movie started. He also wore a cap and hoodie while entering the auditorium. As expected, the staff and patrons did not realize that the actor had come to the cinema hall. However, the manager was informed about his presence.”
Akshay Rathi said, “At the intermission, R Madhavan came out to the F&B area. Just then some patrons recognized him. However, the actor was immediately taken to the manager’s cabin. He came out from there only when the second half started. The actor is always very happy to meet fans and the general public. But he realized that if word spread about his presence, it would create problems.”
Before the credits started, R Madhavan walked out of the theatre. His mission was successful, like his character Ajay Sanyal in the film.
The story uploaded by Akshay Rathi also revealed that the actor was sitting in the last row of the balcony, next to the exit gate. This was also carefully planned so that he could enter and exit without attracting anyone’s attention.
