Actress Sahar Bamba, who made her debut in 2019 every moment near my heart She is back on screen with her second project, The Ba**ads of Bollywood, alongside Karan Deol. had an exclusive conversation with IHNSSahar opened up about the challenges she faced after her debut and the long wait before getting her next big role.

Recalling the overwhelming response her debut received, Sahar admitted that it was a harsh reality. He said, “It was just like a dream is falling apart in front of your eyes. And that was my biggest learning, from the industry too… I luckily got very good reviews. But my biggest learning was that ultimately, when the film doesn’t do well, nothing works.”
The actress revealed that she faced constant auditions and rejections in the years following her debut. “Oh my God, I was giving auditions every day. And then COVID also happened. I was in Shimla for two years, then I came back, or started giving auditions again. Did some work in between. But, of course, I mean, we are still hoping that people will start recognizing me as an actor. But auditions were happening almost every day. And the ba***s of Bollywood came to me at a time where I was, I Quite honestly, disappointed by so many people’s disclaimers, because it almost felt like a pattern where I would make it on the short list and never get cast. And so it started having a huge impact on me. I was starting to get a little tired of that whole process,” Sahar shared.
Talking about securing the role of Karishma Talwar in the series, she recalled her first reaction: “Okay do the lungi audition. But wouldn’t because it seemed too good to be true and too far-fetched. So it’s been quite a weighty one. It’s been quite a long journey. And I’ve really seen it all.”
