Exclusive: Salman Khan to play a retired superhero in Raj & DK’s next; Likely to start November 2026
A source told IHNS, “Salman Khan will be seen as a superhero who wants to take off his cape and retire from saving the world, tired of doing the same thing over and over again. But circumstances don’t let him live in peace and keep pulling him into action again and again, ultimately pushing him into a bigger conflict. The story blends broad comedy with superhero beats, making for a high-concept superhero comedy.”
The source further added that Salman Khan likes the idea and is waiting for Raj and DK to come with the complete script. The source further told IHNS, “Salman’s concern is about the budget. He has asked Raj and DK to develop it keeping the right budget in mind, as Salman is in no mood to do an expensive superhero film. The director duo is working on the script keeping in mind the character traits of Salman Khan.”
