IHNS has been at the forefront in bringing news about Sooraj Barjatya’s next much-awaited film Yeh Prem Mol Liya. The latest update is that the shooting is nearing completion, and Sooraj will announce ‘It’s the wrap’ on the film within a month.
A source told IHNS, “The shooting of Yeh Prem Mol Liya is going very smoothly. A major part of the filming has been finished and now only one week of shooting is left.”
The source further added, “The final schedule will be either in the last week of April or the first week of May after which it will be the wrap of Prem Mol Liya. Both the lead actors of the film – Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari – will be a part of this schedule.”
The family entertainer is produced by Rajshri Productions and Mahavir Jain Films. A source had told IHNS in October 2025, “After Sooraj Barjatya’s last film Unchai (2022), Rajshri Productions has once again decided to join hands with Mahavir Jain Films. Both Sooraj Barjatya and Mahavir Jain had a great time working together on Unchai and hence, they have decided to collaborate once again for the upcoming film.”
Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, Shaad Randhawa, Anupam Kher, Seema Pahwa and Supriya Pathak also play important roles in this film of Sooraj Barjatya. In February, we were the first to report that Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari shot for the film at Mumbai’s Goregaon railway station.
In December 2025, Shaad Randhawa, who made a mark with his performances in 2025’s sleeper successes, Syara and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, revealed that he had got the film. In January this year, he exclusively told IHNS, “This is a film that only Sooraj can make. It’s about family, values and romance. It has dada ji, dadi ji, naani, bua – it’s that kind of film (smiles). It touches on relationships; I don’t think anyone knows relationships better than Sooraj ji. The film also tells a beautiful love story. I’m sure everyone will be waiting for the film because we are looking forward to that kind of film.” Missing the movie.
