IHNS recently reported that Sunny Deol’s next big film, which marks his collaboration with Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt, was tentatively titled Lakhan. Directed by the Kill filmmaker, the project is generating strong buzz for its intense, action-packed premise and the refreshing pairing of actor and director.
However, we now have an exciting update on the title of the film. According to sources, the makers have decided to move away from Lakhan and lock a new title in its place. A source reveals, “The team was waiting to get the title right, and finally they got it. Both Lakhan and Parashuram are powerful in their own ways, but the makers have collectively decided to go ahead with Parashuram.”
The new title is said to better reflect the tone, scale of the film and the larger-than-life character played by Sunny Deol. With a title like Parashuram, the expectations regarding the mass appeal of the film will become even stronger. The shooting of the film will start from October and the makers are all set to make an official announcement on the big collaboration of Sunny Deol and Nikhil Bhatt soon.
