As Sheriff Ulysses heads to a strange land in Minnesota, he is handed more than he bargained for. Initially establishing a peaceful place, his replacement as the city’s chief police officer becomes linked to bigger mysteries that he now gets the chance to explore, and the discovery of a sinister plan brewing in the underground.
Ahead of its theatrical release, Lena Headey of the American action film Normal told IHNS some exclusive details about her casting, including sharing the set with the memorable Bob Odenkirk, as well as being directed by Ben Wheatley.
Talking about what attracted her to the project, Lena Headey said, “I just got the script and I thought it would be fun to work with Bob and Ben Wheatley, and the script was a good time. So here I am.”

Talking about connecting with Bob Odenkirk on set, he said, “It’s great to work with Bob. I’ve always admired his work, so it’s really fun to do a one-on-one scene with him. He’s a great actor, and there’s room to play; we can change lines and find different ways to do it. It’s something we do on every job as an actor.”
As far as Ben Wheatley is concerned, the actress called him a British legend whose work she has always liked. “He’s everything I hoped he would be, which is that he’s done everything. He’s very calm and does the thing that I think very confident directors do, which is allowing people to do what they want without controlling every little movement or thought of an actor. So it feels very comfortable and very easy.”
Describing Normal as a must-see film due to its cast and crew, he concluded that it is a ‘fun, action-packed little slice of weirdness’. General premiere on April 17, 2026.
