Hema Malini is preparing to host a special prayer meeting in New Delhi in the memory of her late husband, legendary actor Dharmendra. The gathering will be organized with the support of his daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol as well as sons-in-law Bharat Takhtani and Vaibhav Vohra. According to NDTV sources, the prayer meeting is scheduled on December 11, 2025 (Thursday) between 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi.

The Delhi meeting followed the first prayer meeting organized by the Deol family at Taj Lands End in Mumbai on November 27. A large number of people from the film industry attended the memorial event. At the entrance of the venue, Dharmendra’s sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with other family members, welcomed the guests with folded hands as they came to pay their respects to the late legend. The tribute concluded with a soulful musical performance by Sonu Nigam, who sang some of Dharmendra’s most favorite songs ‘We are going to come and go,’ ‘We are not going to stay,’ ‘The weather is very dishonest today,’ And ‘Our own are our own.’
Many well-known Bollywood celebrities attended the Mumbai prayer meeting, such as Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, Vidya Balan, Aryan Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Suresh Oberoi and many others.
Apart from public tributes, several close acquaintances visited Hema Malini personally at her Mumbai residence to express their condolences. Those who met him personally included Mahima Chaudhary, Fardeen Khan and Sunita Ahuja along with his son Yashvardhan.
Ahead of the upcoming Delhi service, Hema Malini also organized a Geeta recital at her home in Dharmendra’s memory. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol celebrated Dharmendra’s 90th birthday on December 8 by celebrating with fans at the family home.
