Janhvi Kapoor is on Cloud Nine on her upcoming film HomeboundDirected by Neeraj Ghaywan, has been declared as India’s official entry for the 2026 Academy Awards in the Best International Feature category. The film produced by Dharma Productions also includes Ishaan Khat and Vishal Jethwa.

Expressing her feelings on Instagram, Janhvi shared a hearty note: “Every part of this film is not less than a dream. Travel, people, what this story means, and how personal it is for everyone in our team. At every step I can see this journey, which is in my mind.
This announcement created a wave to congratulate the entire industry. Celebrities, including Harshvardhan Kapoor, Nitanshi Goel, Zoya Akhtar, Shanaya Kapoor, and designer Manish Malhotra, were happy for the first time in the commentary section for the team and the team.
