According to a report by Valai Pechu, because Lokesh Kanagaraj is likely to make a film with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan together, Kuish 2 could be delayed. With this development potentially releasing the Karthi calendar, the actor should reallocate his dates to director Sundar C.
However, for the moment, this remains not confirmed by the manufacturers and is purely speculative. If the report turns out to be true, the new project could start filming in December 2025.
Why is Kuish 2 supposed to be delayed?
Initially, it was reported that Kuish 2 would start production after Lokesh Kanagaraj finished his first film as manager, directed by Arun Matheswaran. However, recent Buzz suggests that the filmmaker Coolie launched a double hero film to Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, both responded positively.
If the reports are correct, the Dual Hero project will go on floors once Lokesh will conclude its beginnings as an actor. This inadvertently leads to being delayed by Kuishi 2. However, no official announcement has yet been made.
