Kantara: Chapter 1, with Rishab Shetty in the lead, should be released in theaters on October 2, 2025. Directed by Shetty himself, the manufacturers organized a pre-liberated event with JR NTR who attended as main guest.

Speaking during the pre-liberation event of Kantara 2, Jr Ntr stressed that the creation of a film of this scale is humanly impossible, and only Rishab Shetty can do it.
According to his own words: “I had the opportunity to see how the Kantara’s manufacturing process: Chapter 1 was frank.
“If it was not because of Rishab Sir, it would be humanly impossible to make Kantara: Chapter 1. If it was not for the Rishab Sir team believed, I do not think that a film like this could have been made,” added the actor.
Interestingly, it has marked the first public appearance of JR NTR since he suffered an injury while turning an advertisement. For those who are not familiar, the actor was on a break after falling on the set and was advisable to rest.
About Kantara: Chapter 1
Kantara: Chapter 1 is Kannada’s next film which serves as a second episode of the Kantara franchise. Featuring, written and directed by Rishab Shetty, the film will immerse itself in the origins of tradition, which will take place during the reign of the Kadamba dynasty.
The film also features Rukmini Vasanth as female manager, and Gulshan Devaiah will play the first antagonist.
Jr Ntr’s to come
JR NTR is currently working on his film, Dragon (Ntrneel), directed by Prashant Neel. The film is presented to be an epic actuator with Rukmini and Tovino Thomas would have played important roles.
In addition, the creators of Devara recently announced the rest of the film, which is also part of the JR NTR range.
