Inspired by real events, the film is primarily set in the premises of a government hospital, where the medical and support staff continue their work amidst the chaos outside. The story highlights how doctors, nurses, ward staff and other staff performed their responsibilities under pressure and ensured the safety of hundreds of patients during a critical situation. According to the makers, the story attempts to show how everyday roles transformed into tasks of responsibility when circumstances demanded.
Speaking about the project, Kangana Ranaut said, “We usually celebrate big, dramatic acts of bravery, but real courage is much quieter.
