Kantara: Chapter 1 entered the second week today, adding another Rs 6.50 crore to the tally on day 9. That’s a strong hold and a drop of 40 percent from its first Friday. The total gross of Kantara: Chapter 1 has now reached around Rs 108 crore nett at the Hindi box office.
The Rishab Shetty starrer is expected to see a good peak on Saturday and Sunday so that it can end its second weekend on a high note. Based on current trends, the film is expected to gross another Rs 30 crore in the second weekend. If it manages to perform on expected lines, it will cross the Rs 150 crore mark by the end of the second week. The mythological epic saga will have another open week due to lack of a significant release before Thamma and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, which will ensure a good cinema release.
Since movies with reception do well even after new releases, Kantara: Chapter 1 will probably be the one. It has a good chance of attracting audiences to the cinemas even after the Diwali 2025 releases. If the film still maintains good footfall, it will reach the Rs 200 crore nett mark in Hindi.

Kantara: Chapter 1 released in theaters alongside Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. However, he is not affected by the confrontation and maintains a good lead over his rival.
