Kantara: Chapter 1 earned Rs. Collected. Today grossed Rs 4.50 crore, marking a 12 per cent increase compared to the third Tuesday, that too when ticket prices had returned to normal. This surge assumes significance as it comes at a time when the film has lost major exposure to Thamma and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. Compared to last Wednesday, the increase is about 20 percent, which is very encouraging.
In places where Diwali was celebrated yesterday, like Maharashtra, there was a jump in collections today, while in other places collections remained stagnant or saw a nominal decline.
Third week cum Rs. Reached. 23.50 crores in 6 days. It is expected to end the week at Rs. 26-27 crores. Currently standing at Rs 177.50 crore, Kantara: Chapter 1 will end its third week crossing Rs. The figure of 180 crores.
