Dharma Productions has taken full ownership of Dharma Cornerstone Agency (DCA) following an amicable restructuring with Cornerstone Sports and Entertainment, reports The Economic Times. According to insiders, both partners have decided to pursue independent strategies moving forward.

According to The Economic Times, as part of the restructuring, Dharma Pratibha Management LLP is buying Cornerstone’s 45% partnership, thereby acquiring Cornerstone’s entire economic rights and contribution to the venture. Financial terms were not disclosed in the report.
According to The Economic Times, the talent roster currently housed under the venture is expected to remain with Dharma, who will continue to manage the ongoing and upcoming operations. The agency is known for representing film talents like Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff, Harshvardhan Rane, Lakshya, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi etc.
On the financial front, according to The Economic Times, the joint venture’s turnover is reportedly expected to grow to Rs 110 crore in FY2025 from Rs 77 crore in FY2024, while net profit stood at Rs 12 crore as against Rs 14 crore last year. Industry executives quoted in the report indicated that full control could allow Dharma to create a more integrated talent strategy, linking management, training and development more tightly with its film and digital content pipeline.
Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Dharma Productions, and Bunty Sajdeh of Cornerstone declined to comment to The Economic Times. Executives tracking the sector also suggested that consolidation in talent management could improve alignment in casting decisions, long-term career planning and brand strategy, especially as the creator economy and influencer-led IP continue to expand.
Cornerstone will continue to operate independently through Cornerstone Sports & Entertainment and plans to grow its presence across sports, entertainment and digital talent, the report said. Its client list includes names like KL Rahul, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sania Mirza, Manu Bhakar etc.
The move is also in line with broader integration into the religion. As reported by The Economic Times, following the acquisition of 50% stake in Dharma by Adar Poonawala for Rs 1,000 crore, Dharmatic Entertainment has been merged into Dharma Productions with effect from April 1, 2025, thus positioning the studio for the next phase of growth.
In October this year, IHNS had reported that Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital arm of Dharma Productions, has officially merged with its parent company as part of Dharma’s plan to “consolidate operations amid the changing entertainment landscape.”
