Katrina Kaif’s Kai Beauty Space with NK Debut makes a record braking UK entry
In partnership with Nykaa, Kai Beauty, co-established by actor Katrina Kaif, started its UK on 3 September. The brand is now especially available online at Space NK Stores and on Spacenk.com.
Since its launch, Kai Beauty’s reaction has been strong. Within a few days, “Kai Beauty” became the most discovered word and the fourth most discovered word on Space NK website became “Kya”, which reflects the brand’s interest in the UK entry.
The initial sales performance has exceeded the expectations, making its estimated forecasts better with Kei Beauty by double digits. The brand is also winning with customers at the basket level, an average of 3.4 units per purchase.
The lip category has been a highlight, with Hydra cream lipstick has become the best -selling product and is a total of 10th ranking. Out of its 16 colors, 11 have received strong demand. Other popular products include Kajal eyeliner Duo, Matt Liquid Lipstick, Hydrating Foundation, Matt Drama Bullet Lipstick and Iconwas discovered eyeshadow palettes.
