Keerthy Suresh reacts to comparison with Chiranjeevi on choosing Thalapathy Vijay as better dancer
While talking to media persons, Keerthy Suresh was asked why she thinks Vijay is a better dancer and whether she also thinks he looks better. Responding to the question, the actress said, “It’s not about who looks better. I think Chiranjeevi Garud himself knows how big a fan I am of Vijay. I love Chiranjeevi sir, I love working with him and I respect him.”
She further added, “I had also told him this when we had such conversations. It was not my intention to misbehave. If I have hurt Chiranjeevi garu’s fans, I am sorry. When we worked together, I told him, ‘Sir, I love Vijay sir’s dance and everything else.’ When I told them they took it very supportively.”
Suresh said, “When he asked me, I just said what I felt. We all know how powerful Chiranjeevi is. Both of them are big stars. Even my mother has acted with Chiranjeevi sir. No one is less than the other. Undoubtedly, he is one of the biggest stars in the country. I didn’t mean to be disrespectful at all.”
Media persons further questioned his remarks, especially his statement “No one is less than the other”, asking whether it was right to compare the Vishwambhara actor with Vijay.
Kirti clarified that she did not compare anyone and never said that anyone was greater than the other. He emphasized that both his former co-stars are veterans in the film industry.
The Sarkar actress said, “When he asked my opinion, I just said what I felt. It’s also because I have watched more of Vijay sir’s films. So I’m telling you, it was not meant to be disrespectful. Even when I told Chiranjeevi sir my opinion, he appreciated my honesty.”
She concluded by saying that she was sorry if her words hurt anyone’s feelings, adding, “It feels so hurtful when I can’t say what I feel.”
