KHxRK promo out: Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan come together again after 47 years for Nelson’s action film, filming to start soon

Two superstars of South cinema, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, are reuniting after more than four decades with Nelson’s film, tentatively titled KH x RK. The team recently released an entertaining promo, giving a glimpse of their upcoming film. Check it out!

The 3 minute 46 second promo begins with Nelson wondering which room he should enter first. After this comes musician Anirudh, who teaches them to take this decision with ease. He eventually goes to the room of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, who seem confused about their attire. After all, after making complicated decisions about which shoes to wear and which jacket to wear, the stars finally revealed their looks.

With the track Aaja Raja playing in the background, the actors eventually come out of their rooms, and face each other in the corridor. Head to the rustic garage where Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth make a grand entry. With head-turning aura and killer looks, the star attracts the attention of the lady mechanic on site.

After walking slowly for a few seconds without being interrupted by glares and stares, they finally reach the car. In typical Rajini style, the actor hands over the keys to his counterpart full of swag. Well, the legends are all set for the epic KH x RK reunion. But the actors have a very important question for Nelson and Anirudh: Who is the hero? Well, it looks like the audience will have to wait patiently to get the answer to this burning question.

Sharing the video on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Kamal Haasan wrote, “A special reunion with my friend @rajinikanth. Every great journey deserves another chapter!”

Earlier this week, the team released the announcement poster of the film and shared, “Some men set the rules, some men just rule.” KH x RK is co-produced by M. Shenbaga Murthy and R. Arjun Durai under the banner of Red Giant Movies. Having said that, the makers have not revealed the official release date of the film.

For those unaware, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth are reuniting after 47 years. The pair last shared screen space in the 1979 film, Alauddinum Alabhutha Vilakkam.
