Who is Chandra?
Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra explores the story of Chandra (played by Kalyani Priyadarshan), a mysterious woman with a Gothic lifestyle. Living in Sweden, it is summoned by Moothon (expressed by Mammootty), a dark figure that controls super -leased beings around the world.
As asked to move to Bengaluru, she keeps a low profile taking night work in a cafe. Chandra lives in front of Sunny, a young man who strikes herself quickly with her.
Meanwhile, an organ trafficking scam operates in the state with the support of a male Chauvin agent, inspector Nachiyappa Gowda. Soon, Chandra and the gang intersect with organ traffickers, which decide to remove it.
However, things take a tour when Chandra reveals his real powers, killing each of them. She turns out to be Kalliyankattu Neeli, a famous yakshi (a malicious spirit often found in Kerala folklore). His transformation is observed by Sunny and Chandra confides in him.
After revealing his original story in Sunny, Chandra is found by Gowda. However, when he tries to kill her, she bites him, finally transforming him into a yaksha.
At that time, the government is struck by fear and enlisted a special working group led by Nachiyappa to track down Chandra.
As they run for their life, Chandra, Sunny and his friends find themselves in an abandoned clinic. With Gowda getting closer to them, the gang is saved by Chathan (a Kerala folklore goblin), and a final battle takes place, with Chandra ending the life of Nachiyappa.
In a moment of melancholy, Chandra farewell to Sunny and her friends, promising that she would come back if an anomaly should occur.
Who was the superpowing ninja in Lokah?
Lokah Chapter 1 presented two post-key scenes. The first presented a superpowing ninja, Charlie (Dulquer Salmaan), who eliminates the remains of the organ trafficking ring. He turns out to be an Odiyan, a legendary character in the folklore of Kerala known for their metamorphic capacities.
In another post-key scene, an unpertified person is seen by questioning Chathan (Tovino Thomas) after an archaeologists’ expedition team has disappeared. The only image recovered from the cave looked like Chathan itself.
In the last moment, Chathan reveals that it is not him, but one of his 389 brothers and sisters, providing a cliffhanger for a suite.
