Tamil film Love Insurance Company (LIK) recorded a huge decline of 60 per cent on its first Monday, taking Rs. 3 crores to tally. Love Insurance Company (LIK)’s 4-day theatrical run has now grossed Rs 28 crore at the Indian box office.
Pradeep Ranganathan’s film should have done much better on its first Monday as it was a holiday. Based on current trends, the Vignesh Sivan directorial is expected to have an opening week collection of around Rs. 34 crores to Rs. 36 crores. So far, the film has registered a tremendous trend. It needs to move forward soon and take some steps to achieve a successful dramatic decision.

Rs 3 crore from Karnataka. 5.50 crore from Telugu states. Rest of the Indian markets collected around Rs. Contributed. 75 lakhs to the tally.

Love Insurance Company (LIK) It is set in the year 2040 and tells the story of a young man named Vasu who lives in a world where technology decides everything in life, including love. When a love insurance company claims that its app can successfully match every relationship through an algorithm, Vasu becomes the only threat to this claim when he falls in love with Dheere, an incompatible pair.
Facing opposition from a corporate rival, how Vasu manages to win over Dheema and complete their love story, is shown in the film. Along with Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, the film also stars Kriti Shetty, SJ Suryah, Gauri G Kishan, Yogi Babu and others in lead roles.
