The drama of action on the crime of Sivakarthikeyan, Madharaasi, attends a disappointing race at the box office. Although the film recorded a peak in the second weekend, it has always stayed below expectations. Directed by Ar Murugadoss, the film made its debut with RS 12.30 crore, which was a good start to the Tamil box office. Madharaasi launched its second weekend by clearing Rs 2.45 on Friday, followed by a nominal leap of 30% on Saturday where he collected Rs 3.50 crore. The estimates suggest that the film recorded another jump and added Rs 3.70 crosses to the count, today on the second Sunday.
The total collection at the box office in Madharaasi has crossed the RS crores bar and is now located at Rs 61.45 raw crore at Tamil Nadu.
