It was previously reported that Millie Bobby Brown has accused onscreen dad David Harbor of harassment and bullying during her time on the show. Millie Bobby Brown is not happy with David Harbor’s behavior towards her. She filed a complaint containing the exact claims, resulting in a lengthy investigation. The allegations come amid his ongoing feud with wife Lily Allen over alleged cheating. According to the latest reports, the 21-year-old’s complaints were filed in late 2023 or early 2024, which suggests that the filming of the last season took place later. A source told the Daily Mail, “Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before she started shooting last season. There were pages and pages of allegations. The investigation lasted for months.”
It also said that his wife “steadfastly supported her husband throughout his ‘brutal’ ordeal”. It is not known what the outcome of the inquiry was and whether it had any impact on the filming of the final season. Representatives for Millie Bobby Brown have not commented on the reports. Meanwhile, the studio behind the megahit series, Netflix, has also refused to comment on any investigation it has conducted.
David Harbor plays Police Chief James Hopper Jr. or Jim Hopper in Stranger Things, while the actress plays Jane Hopper or Eleven in the show. He has previously spoken about feeling ‘protective’ about his on-screen daughter. The reaction of fellow artists on this ordeal is not yet known.
