Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala tied the knot on December 4, 2024. As they approach one year of married life, the couple celebrated their first Diwali together, and were all smiles. The actress took to her social media handle and shared a series of images enjoying the festivities with her husband.
While Shobhita wore a deep purple velvet dress, Chai chose a beige kurta for the festive occasion. They looked absolutely royal together in the Diwali pictures.

For those unfamiliar, Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita got married a year ago in an intimate ceremony held in Hyderabad. The happy occasion was attended by many celebrities from the Telugu film industry who came to bless the newly married couple.
Recently, Amala Akkineni reflected on her role as mother-in-law to Shobhita and Akhil Akkineni’s wife Zainab Rawadji. In a conversation with YouTube channel Aval Vikatan, the Shiva actress revealed that she has amazing daughters-in-law, describing them as delightful and saying that they help her relive old memories.
The veteran actress mentioned that, although they are very busy, they love to spend time together whenever they get a chance and added that she is not a needy mother-in-law.
Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala’s work front
Naga Chaitanya was last seen in the romantic action thriller Thandel, co-starring Sai Pallavi. Directed by Chandu Mondeti, the film tells the story of Raju, a fisherman from the Srikakulam region, who finds solace in his profession and the love he shares with Sathya, also known as Bujji Thalli.
However, Raju’s life changes when his fishing vessel accidentally drifts into Pakistani waters due to a storm, leading to his imprisonment. The story focuses on how the brave fisherman escapes from the enemy army and is reunited with his love.
Apart from the lead cast, the film stars Aadukalam Naren, Divya Pillai, Karunakaran, Kalpa Latha, Bablu Prithviraj and many others in lead roles.
Looking ahead, the actor is currently working on the tentatively titled NC24, an adventure film in which he is expected to play the role of an explorer.
On the other hand, Sobhita Dhulipala will be seen in director Pa Ranjith’s Vettuvam, a sci-fi gangster drama co-starring Dinesh of Lubbar Pandu fame.
