Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming venture, NC24, is currently under production, with Virupaksha fame Karthik Varma Dandu directing the project. The makers have now officially announced Meenakshi Choudhary as the female lead and introduced her character as Daksha.

Naga Chaitanya shared the first look of Meenakshi Choudhary as an archaeologist on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
Sharing the announcement, Chay wrote, “It’s my pleasure to introduce Meenakshi Choudhary as Daksha from our NC24 to you all. It was so much fun working with her and her character that you all will fall in love with.”
The upcoming film, tentatively titled NC24, is a mythological thriller in which Chaitanya is expected to play the role of a treasure hunter. The first-look poster and behind-the-scenes footage have already revealed the actor’s bold and deeply adventurous look.
NC24 is said to be one of the highest budget films of Naga Chaitanya’s career. He will be seen in a completely new avatar, which will be quite different from his previous roles.
Directed by Karthik Verma Dandu, the film is based on a story written by Pushpa director Sukumar. Produced by BVSN Prasad, Sukumar and Bapinedu, the film has cinematography by Ragul Dharuman.
Naga Chaitanya and Meenakshi Choudhary’s work front
Talking about Naga Chaitanya’s recent work, the actor was last seen in the romantic action drama Thandel directed by Chandu Mondeti, starring Sai Pallavi in the co-lead role.
Thandel tells the story of Raju, a brave fisherman who accidentally ventures into Pakistani waters. The film focuses on his passion for fishing and his love for Satya, also known as Bujji Thalli. Interestingly, it was inspired by a true incident involving a man from Srikakulam.
Apart from the lead actors, the film also featured Aadukalam Naren, Divya Pillai, Karunakaran, Kalpa Latha, Bablu Prithviraj and others in lead roles. It is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
Meanwhile, Meenakshi Choudhary was last seen in Venkatesh Daggubati starrer Sankranthi Vasthanam, co-starring Aishwarya Rajesh and directed by Anil Ravipudi. The actress will next be seen in Anaganaga Oka Raju opposite Naveen Polishetty.
