In a historic performance of commitment to celebrate India’s rich storytelling culture, Netflix announced Kurkshetra, an epic new series, imagining the timeless dilemmas and intense knowledge of the Mahabharata. Conjected and produced by Anu Sikka, the series is a tipping point production, produced by Alok Jain, Anu Sikka, and Ajit and Hare. Kurukshetra is written and directed by Ujan Ganguly. Legendary poet and lyricist Gulzar gave his voice for the project as the official lyricist of the series, adding depth and gravitas to this animated retailing.
Netflix hover into Indian animated mythology with Kurukshetra
A seminal production, Kurukshetra never presents the Mahabharata before – through an emergent story that captures the emotional intensity and moral complexity of the greatest moments of epic. The series is revealed through the outlook of 18 major warriors, each navigating their internal dilemmas, personal vengeance and the devastating cost of a war that creates a brother against brother. The show will be launched in two parts of each 9 episode, bringing the biggest Indian story described for life through the learning of Dharmayukh (righteous war).

As a part of its growing original material slate, Netflix India turns into a style of legendary legends with India Kurukshetra, a retailing of an epic that brings ancient knowledge in the modern era.
On October 10, Kurukshetra premieres only on Netflix.
