According to Variety India, the first shooting schedule is expected to last for about a month. Shooting of the film began on Monday, 23 February in Mumbai, with Ajay Devgan scheduled to join the set on 25 February. Although details about Priyamani’s character are being kept under wraps, reports suggest that she has already started shooting for her portion.

The film’s production has been expedited weeks after a deadly incident at Rohit Shetty’s Juhu residence, where five rounds of bullets were reportedly fired. Mumbai Crime Branch investigation revealed that the vehicle used in the firing was brought from Pune. Officials had earlier said that the accused, including Subham Lonkar, allegedly intended to create panic in the city. The investigators also said that Rs 40,000 was transferred to one of the arrested accused, who was in touch with Lonkar through a messaging application.
