Initially there were rumors that the first track would arrive by Diwali 2025, but it seems the team has decided to postpone it. However, as of now, Jan Nayakan team has not made any official announcement in this regard.
Recently this project has been gaining a lot of discussion. Reports suggest that Jana Nayagan will have a huge finale sequence, where Thalapathy Vijay’s character will go up against several humanoids. The theme of “human vs. AL” is expected to be explored in the high-octane climax.
The action sequence is rumored to be one of the most jaw-dropping moments ever created in Indian cinema. However, this information remains speculation until confirmed by the manufacturers.

Jana Nayakan is an upcoming political action drama, which is rumored to feature Thalapathy Vijay as a former police officer. Initially, reports suggested that the film would be a remake of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagavan Kesari, but new speculations indicate that the team has acquired the rights of the Anil Ravipudi directorial to recreate only one important scene.
Featuring Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol in the lead roles, the film is directed by H. Vinoth and also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narayan, Priyamani, Mamita Baiju and many others in important roles.
On Pooja’s 35th birthday earlier this year, the makers unveiled a special poster, revealing her character’s name as Kayal.
The music and background score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his fifth collaboration with Vijay after the 2023 blockbuster Leo. Additionally, rapper Hanumankind is confirmed to lend his voice to a track in the film.
Earlier, Jana Nayagan was scheduled to release in October 2025, but it was later postponed to Pongal 2026.
