After two successful performances with Pushpa: The Rise in 2021 and Pushpa 2: The Rule in 2024, the sequel is unlikely to arrive any time soon. A new report in Telugu 360 claims that the film is set to enter its pre-production stage soon.
The latest update on Pushpa 3 is that it is already being planned. Directed by director Sukumar, the timeline seems to be after the filmmaker’s project with Ram Charan. Meanwhile, the actor has to fulfill his three work commitments. According to reports, work on the next film in the Pushpa franchise will begin behind the scenes, with the scripting and story planning being done first. “Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 3 pre-production work is set to begin soon. A special office has been rented in Hyderabad, and script development, story discussions and related work will begin soon.”

The upcoming film titled Pushpa 3: The Rampage is said to be released in 2028, if plans remain on schedule. The film will showcase the story of Pushp Raj as he continues to fight new enemies with plans to reclaim his red sandalwood empire. It is expected that he will face major betrayals when faced with strong enemies. Vijay Deverakonda is rumored to be brought in as the antagonist after the downfall of Fahadh Faasil’s character in the previous part.
