Featuring a range of evergreen films – Om Shanti Om, Devdas, Dil Se, Main Hoon Na, Chennai Express, Jawan And sometimes yes sometimes no – The festival sparked collective nostalgia and drew audiences of all ages back to theaters across the country, with some returning to relive the magic and others discovering these classics for the first time.

One of the most loved film festivals organized by PVR INOX, the festival was extended to November 14, 2025, after an extraordinary response by a full house, standing ovation and viral fan celebrations. Across the city, audiences turned theaters into joyrides – singing songs, shouting dialogues, dancing in the aisles, recreating scenes and even donning cosplay inspired by SRK’s iconic characters. What started as a tribute became a cultural movement, reaffirming Shah Rukh Khan’s timeless appeal and unmatched charisma. The success of the festival is a testament to the enduring star power of Shah Rukh Khan – his ability to unite generations and create pure cinematic emotion decades after his first release.
SRK Film Festival is part of PVR Inox’s ongoing initiative to celebrate exceptional talent and landmark films from India and around the world. By bringing timeless classics back to the big screen, PVR INOX rekindles the magic of great cinema and builds a bridge between generations – giving new audiences a chance to discover these masterpieces and longtime fans a chance to relive their nostalgia and joy.
