Tamannaah Bhatia has officially started shooting ragini 3. On July 15, 2026, the actress announced on her Instagram Stories that the shooting of the much-awaited horror entertainer has begun.

In the picture shared by Tamannaah, she can be seen holding the clapboard of the film while smiling on the sets. Slate confirms that production has begun, with a shooting date of July 15, 2026 marked “Day 01” on board. Also listed on the clapboard are producer Shobha Kapoor, co-producers Amar Talwar and Kumar Taurani, director Shashank Ghosh and director of photography Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti, officially signaling the beginning of the film’s production.
The film overcame the hurdles of casting and production before going on floors
ragini 3 It has been making headlines since its initial development. Reports initially suggested that Nora Fatehi was considered for the lead role. However, she reportedly backed out of the project in September 2025 due to scheduling commitments, including an international shoot in Los Angeles.
Earlier this year, reports claimed that the film was shelved after director Sahir Raza stepped down from the direction due to scheduling issues. Soon after, the makers officially unveiled the project with Tamannaah Bhatia and Junaid Khan as the lead pair.
The film will now be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Shashank Ghosh, while Sahir Raza will be creatively associated with the project.
Backed by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Limited, ragini 3 The film has already created a lot of buzz among the audience. Producers have described the project as a “date night horror”, although story details and the rest of the cast have been kept under wraps.
