Zee Studios and BLive Productions have finally unveiled the much awaited teaser Rahu KetuGives audiences a glimpse of a world where astrology, folklore and full-blown comedy collide. Releasing in theaters on January 16, 2026, the film promises a riotous spin on celestial events and destiny going wrong.

The teaser begins with Piyush Mishra in a mysterious, omniscient avatar – someone who understands about “Dasha” and “Disha” more clearly than one might expect. A twist of fate sends Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma into roles they never imagined: modern incarnations of Rahu and Ketu. What lies ahead is a trail of astrological illusions, cosmic gags and unexpected adventures. Shalini Pandey’s brief appearance suggests attraction, chaos or, to some extent, both.
Reunited after their beloved chemistry in Fukre The franchise is the title of a story written and directed by Pulkit and Varun Vipul Vig. The film also stars Chunky Pandey, Amit Sial and Manu Rishi Chadha in lead roles, adding color to the comic mayhem.
Sharing his excitement, Varun Sharma said, “The moment I heard Rahu KetuI knew it would be different than anything we’d done before – and what an experience it has been! Pulkit Samrat said, “We had the most fun shooting this full-on, hilarious anarchy. Can’t wait for audiences to see what we’ve created.”
Writer-director Vipul Vig shared, “Astrology has always fascinated me, and reimagining it through humor and heart was something I was eager to explore. After writing Fukre In films, working with Varun and Pulkit again – this time as directors – felt both familiar and thrilling. Presented by Zee Studios and produced in association with BLive Productions, Rahu Ketu is set to present the audience with a divine comedy, where the planets may misbehave, but the laughs won’t stop. This film will be released in theaters on 16 January 2026.
