After maintaining a largely low profile despite the prolonged investigation, Raj Kundra has publicly addressed the controversies surrounding him, issuing a strong statement on social media. The businessman, who often makes headlines for both his personal life and legal challenges, took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his stance, signaling a shift from silence to direct engagement.
Raj Kundra breaks silence with explosive post: “Enough!! I will be judged not by noise, only by justice”
In his post, Kundra wrote, “Justice delayed is justice denied. I have remained silent, I have respected the system, and endured media trials, speculations and trolling. That’s it!! I want the truth through a fair and final verdict. If found guilty by the court, I will have to face every consequence. Till then, I will be judged not by noise, but only by justice. Raj Kundra.”
This statement is one of his most direct responses to the public discourse surrounding his cases. For years, Kundra avoided addressing the criticism in detail, instead opting to let the legal proceedings take their course. However, his latest message reflects growing frustration with the “media trial” and online speculation.
Kundra has been dealing with several legal matters in the last few years. Recently, in February 2026, he was granted bail by a special PMLA court in a money laundering case related to an alleged Bitcoin Ponzi scheme. Investigating officials have claimed that they received large amounts of cryptocurrency from the alleged mastermind of a failed mining project, while Kundra has said that his role was limited.
Additionally, Kundra and his wife Shilpa Shetty are also facing a fraud case filed by the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) over allegations related to financial transactions linked to their former business venture. The matter is under legal consideration.
The development comes in the backdrop of the 2021 case that garnered widespread attention, following which Kundra spent time in judicial custody before being granted bail. Since then, the businessman has largely avoided detailed public comment on the issues.
With his latest statement, Kundra seems to be seeking closure of the case through the judicial process rather than the ongoing public debate. By calling for a “fair and final verdict”, he has made it clear that he wants to rely on the courts to determine the outcome, even as the cases continue to be discussed in the public sphere.
