Rajkumar Hirani has made many classic films which are remembered even after more than a decade. 3 idiots (2009) is one such film and is loved for its excellent humor, poignant scenes, commentary on the education system in India, and casting. In December it was revealed that the blockbuster filmmaker was planning a sequel 3 idiots and this is the temporary title 4 idiots. According to IHNS, Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi are expected to play the roles of Rancho, Farhan and Raju respectively, with another actor also joining the lead cast. Recently Rajkumar Hirani admitted that he is actually working on the sequel.
Rajkumar Hirani confirms he is working on 3 Idiots sequel: “Suddenly, the idea of the film came out of nowhere…”
In an interview with Variety India, Rajkumar Hirani said, “I have a few ideas at the moment. I’m actually working on both films. I’m working on one film.” Munna Bhai Also on the script and a 3 idiots A sequel idea.”
He also said that he has not yet understood the ending of its third part. Munna Bhai. Rajkumar Hirani said, “For Munna BhaiI had an idea, which is done on a larger scale, but still, I haven’t got the right end to it.”
For the 3 Idiots sequel, he revealed, “For 3 idiots Sequel: Just recently, suddenly, out of nowhere, this idea popped up. And I don’t know how it got into the universe. Because it’s still not there, but we said we’ll work on it. And then, whenever that happens… But somehow one morning, I saw that the news was out.”
Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan were also working on Dadasaheb Phalke’s biopic, but according to recent reports, it has been put on hold.
