Bollywood’s beloved couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary this year with the happiest moment of their lives. The two announced the arrival of their first child, a baby girl, and shared the heartwarming news with their followers via a simple but emotional text post on Instagram.

“We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl. Blessed parents – Patralekhaa and Rajkumar,” she wrote in the caption, adding that it is “the biggest blessing God has given us on our 4th wedding anniversary”. This announcement immediately sparked a wave of love in the film fraternity. Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Dia Mirza, Ali Fazal, Vaani Kapoor, Esha Gupta and Anil Kapoor were among the first to wish. Kriti Sanon and many others also joined in to congratulate the couple on this new chapter. Varun Dhawan, who recently became a father himself, encouraged them with an enthusiastic message welcoming them to the “Parents Club”, a sentiment echoed by many fans in the comments.
Even before the excitement over the announcement died down, Prince’s close friend Farah Khan added to the celebrations by sharing unseen moments from the couple’s intimate baby shower. The filmmaker-choreographer posted a series of fun snapshots in which Rajkummar and Patralekhaa are seen in bright yellow outfits as they enjoy the special day among close friends. The event was attended by Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, Sonakshi Sinha and her husband Zaheer Iqbal, among others, making the gathering warm, personal and full of laughter.
Farah’s post also took a look at the beautifully crafted decorations and theme of the party, which had a bright, festive aesthetic. They also shared glimpses of the extensive food corner, which included an enticing spread of chaats and street-style favourites, which added a hearty, homey touch to the festivities.
