However, the hearing was not without sharp comments from the court. The bench reportedly commented on Yadav’s conduct, noting that the actor had been jailed after failing to honor commitments made earlier in the case.

Rajpal Yadav is currently serving a six-month jail sentence after the Delhi High Court rejected his plea seeking relief in the check bounce case. He surrendered in Tihar Jail on 5 February.
