Ram Gopal Varma has expressed tremendous admiration for the vision and craft of director Aditya Dhar, who has often cited Varma as a major inspiration. Last weekend, Aditya Dhar and Yami Gautam invited Ram Gopal Varma to their home in Mumbai.

Verma was deeply moved and impressed by the couple’s warmth and hospitality. Varma says, “For those who believe that success has changed Aditya, I am happy to say that he remains down-to-earth, humble, soft-spoken and impeccable. And his wife Yami is equally down-to-earth and gracious. I must say that they are the most practical couple in our film industry.”
So, what did they talk about? “What do you think? Dhurandhar, absolutely. When I told Aditya that he has changed the grammar of Hindi cinema, he smiles. He is not taking his success seriously, he is letting others do it.”
