The much awaited film of director Nitesh Tiwari Ramayana If ongoing plans come to fruition there could be a grand international premiere in Dubai. According to a report in Mid-Day, the makers have restarted discussions about hosting the film’s premiere in the UAE after shelving the idea earlier.

The event is reportedly being planned for October 28 and is being called internally the “Desert Premiere”.

According to the report, director Nitish Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra had initially considered Dubai for the premiere of the film. However, those plans were put on hold earlier this year due to the conflict in West Asia.

The report adds that now that discussions have resumed after the regional situation eased, the team is once again exploring the feasibility of hosting the event in Dubai.

The search for the location is reportedly underway

According to Mid-Day, initial ground work has already begun, with location scouts evaluating multiple locations across Dubai.

“In April, the idea was put on hold as the timing didn’t seem right.
