Prim focus stock, post-production and VFX company Nitesh Tiwari is working on the upcoming upcoming RamayanaA strong is upwards. On Tuesday, the company’s shares hit a 10% upper circuit for the third straight session on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which closed at Rs 191.25. In just three trading days, the stock has jumped 33%, inspired by fresh investment from many high-profile investors.

Big name back prime focus

Ramesh Damani, who was reportedly, bought Rs 142.55 per share of Rs 8 lakh shares, while Util Sheth raised 17.5 lakh shares at the same price. Madhusudan Banana’s eccentricity AMC also made big purchases, along with 48.5 lakh shares, translated into about 2% stake in the company.

Other investors, such as FE Securities and Samyak Enterprises, also bought significant amounts. Overall, Marki investors raised about 3.3% prime focus through bulk and block deals, priced at around Rs 146 crore.

At the same time, some foreign investors chose to sell their bets. Singapore -based Marina IV PTE Limited took off the company’s 1.1%, while Augusta investment was out with a 1.75% stake.

Ranbir Kapoor’s investment discusses

The investor’s interest in the earlier reports follows that actor Ranbir Kapoor invested between Rs 15-20 crore at Prime Focus Studio through a preferential allocation. He was one of the proposed allottees, when the company approved the issue of more than 46 crore shares, aiming to acquire about 12.5 lakh shares.

Prim focus owned by Namit Malhotra has developed as a global leader in post-production and visual effects. Its subsidiary has won eight Academy Awards for films including Double Negative (DNEG), Tetate, Dune: Part One, and Dune: Part Two. Malhotra currently holds 4.81% stake in the company.

Strong financial changes

The company’s financial also reflects its speed. In Q1 FY26, Prime Focus stated a net profit of Rs 110.47 crore compared to a loss of Rs 158.07 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations climbed around 23% year-old to Rs 976.82 crore. Based on a quarter-by-term, the company also returned to profit from a loss of Rs 251.62 crore.

Enthusiasts have increased the prime focus’ in high anticipated RamayanaDirected by Nitesh Tiwari, the film will be released in two parts – one Diwali and Diwali 2027 during 2026.
