Ranbir Kapoor has added another big property to his real estate portfolio by purchasing around 25.7 acres of land in Pune’s Mulshi taluka for Rs 16.42 crore. According to property registration documents obtained by CRE Matrix, the transaction involves four contiguous land parcels located in Pimpri village. The sale agreement for the purchase was officially registered on April 30, 2026.

The acquisition involves four separate parcels of land. The first parcel of 21,400 square meters was purchased for Rs 3.31 crore. The second parcel is spread over 29,900 square meters and was acquired for Rs 4.62 crore. The third, the largest of the four, measures 43,800 sq m and was purchased for Rs 7.07 crore, while the fourth parcel, covering 8,900 sq m, was purchased for Rs 1.39 crore.
Combined, the size of the four adjoining plots is approximately 1,04,000 square meters or about 25.7 acres, taking the total transaction value to Rs 16.42 crore. Property registration documents show that the deal attracted stamp duty of Rs 82.13 lakh.
This is not Kapoor’s first major real estate investment in recent months. In May 2026, The House of Abhinandan Lodha announced that the actor had purchased land worth approximately Rs 3.31 crore in his ‘The Saryu’ project in Ayodhya. The 2,134 sq ft plot is part of a 75-acre luxury plot development located on the banks of river Saryu. The project is planned to include a club house, over 35 lifestyle amenities and a five-acre fully vegetarian luxury hotel operated by The Leela.
Ranbir Kapoor’s latest investment reflects a growing trend among Bollywood celebrities who are expanding their real estate portfolio beyond Mumbai. Many actors and public figures have increasingly invested in agricultural and non-agricultural land, vacation homes and premium residential properties in places like Pune, Alibaug, Lonavala and Goa.
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Kartik Aryan, Kriti Sanon, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have also made significant land investments in various parts of the country, highlighting the growing appeal of premium real estate as a long-term investment.
