Members of at least 120 crew working on Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Dhurandhar During the shooting in Leh district of Ladakh, suspected food fell ill due to food poisoning, causing production to stop. The incident occurred on 17 August while filming at Pathar Sahib. Officials told Mid-Day, “More than 100 workers of a Bollywood film crew were admitted to the hospital in Leh after a suspicious case of food poisoning late Sunday evening.”

The affected individuals experienced serious symptoms such as acute abdominal pain, vomiting, and immediate after eating headaches, to pay immediate medical attention to the Sajal Nerbu Memorial Hospital. On that day about 600 people were served food, out of which 120 fell ill and required to be hospitalized. There are rumors that suggest that some persons also faced cardiac complications. ,
Food samples have been collected and sent for further analysis to indicate the root cause of contamination. Meanwhile, the team has temporarily suspended shooting.
