Reason 2 made great earnings in the second weekend. With Rs 22.70 crore. Earned 8.35 crores on second Sunday. The film recorded a 20 percent growth in its second weekend compared to the first three days in theatres. Wazaa 2 11 day fee is now Rs. Earning Rs 79.90 crore at Kerala box office.
Directed by Savin Sa, the Malayalam film turned out to be a sensational blockbuster at the box office. Based on current trends the film will cross the Rs crore mark. It will cross the Rs 100 crore gross mark on its home turf soon, possibly in the third weekend, and then it will move towards its ultimate goal.
If the film manages to do well in the third and fourth weeks, it may challenge Loca Chapter One: Chandra’s Lifetime Come at the Kerala box office, which is currently the highest-grossing film of Malayalam cinema.

After the success of Reason: Biopic of one billion boysProducer and writer Vipin Das returned with a sequel titled ‘Waza 2: Biopic of a Billion Brothers’. Directed by Savin Sa, the film stars Hashir, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy and Vinayak in lead roles.
It is composed by the band Malayali Monkeys with Rajat Prakash (Hatsmith), Parvathish Pradeep, Razi, Muthu, Arkado, Jazeer Muhammad, Ashwin Aryan and Electronic Killy, while A Team handled the background score. Music directed by Ankit Menon. Akhil Lailasuran took charge of the cinematography and Kannan Mohan served as the editor.
