Resul Pookutty refuted AR Rahman’s communal comment, “He should not have said that. I have never faced anything like this in my entire career.”
So, has Resul also felt that “communal thing” that Rahman says he has experienced?
Resul said, “He should not have said that. I have never faced anything like that in my entire career. I think the film industry is a sector where such ideas have not gone deep and we look at things beyond communal considerations. I am very proud of that aspect of our industry.”
Resul Pookutty, defending Rahman’s comments, said, “If you listen to what he said about this, when he was dropped from projects, he heard whispers from people that it ‘could be communal.’ About the situation at that time when he was being asked.”
