Hosted by Sonali Bendre and Munawar Faruqui, the show brought together seven celebrity couples who participated in challenges designed to reflect the everyday fights, conflicts and warmth that shape marital life. Over several weeks, viewers watched the couples accomplish unexpected tasks, relive personal milestones, and address the push-and-pull associated with long-term partnerships. The season culminated in a grand finale like a big Indian wedding, where the couples dressed as bride and groom to symbolically renew their vows in a celebratory atmosphere.
For fans of Rubina and Abhinav, seeing the two together on screen again added an old charm to the season. His warm banter, emotional transparency and light humor became highlights time and again. At one point, Rubina teased, “Engineers have the worst quality of romance,” while Abhinav’s steady gestures – which also included a heartfelt birthday gift from his financially tough days – resonated strongly with the audience, who appreciated the couple’s authenticity.
After three months of competition, eliminations and unexpected twists, the couple emerged victorious with the title.
