Salman Khan Films has dismissed reports claiming that this is his upcoming war drama film Motherland: Let there be peace in war has faced problems with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The production house released an official statement on social media calling such reports “false” and clarifying that the film has not yet been submitted to the Board of Certification.

The clarification comes a day after reports said that the CBFC has put the clearance certificate of the film on hold until further notice, raising questions over its theatrical release timeline.
Salman Khan Films issues clarification on CBFC report
On July 4, Salman Khan Films shared a statement on its official social media platforms addressing the speculations surrounding the film’s certification.
“Any claims suggest that Motherland: Let there be peace in war It is wrong that CBFC has faced problems or its certification has been stopped. The film has not yet been submitted to the CBFC for certification. Therefore such news is completely baseless. We request that media outlets and individuals refrain from spreading unverified information. Any official updates regarding the film will be shared by Salman Khan Films through its official channels only.”
The production banner did not reveal when the film is expected to be submitted for certification or whether there have been any changes to its release schedule.
This clarification comes after an NDTV report which claimed that the CBFC had stopped the certification Homeland until further notice. According to reports, the alleged delay had created uncertainty over the film’s planned theatrical release.
War drama 2020 inspired by Galwan Valley clash

The film was initially scheduled to release before Eid on 17 April but was later postponed. Later reports suggested that the makers were aiming for an August release around the Independence Day weekend. Although speculations regarding the release are ongoing, the production house has not made any official announcement regarding the revised release date.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Salma Khan under the Salman Khan Films banner, the film stars Salman Khan in the role of Colonel Santosh Babu, the commanding officer of 16 Bihar Regiment, who led Indian troops during the Galwan Valley confrontation while implementing the disengagement agreement on the border. The cast also includes Chitrangada Singh in the lead role along with Abhilash Chaudhary and Ankur Bhatia. The music of the film has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
