Speaking about being in a public relationship with a big star and their subsequent separation, the Eega actor didn’t know if she would ever be able to do it again. Sharing her admiration for her current husband, the actress said, “When I went through the separation, I completely shut down. I didn’t think it would ever be possible to trust anyone else. Thankfully, I was vulnerable enough to accept that kind of love and friendship. And I am a better person because of the relationship I am in. Because of Raj (Nidimoru).”
There has been a drastic change in the 38-year-old’s personality after the divorce and even her own friends have noticed the same. She recently shared an anecdote about meeting an old friend, who later shared a voice note with the actress saying, ‘This is the first time in a long time that I feel like you’re not having trouble breathing.’ The star agreed, saying, “I’m not performing anymore.”
The Neethane En Ponvasantham star dated Naga Chaitanya, son of acting superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, from 2010 to 2017. Both of them got married in Goa on October 6, 2017. However, after months of speculation, the couple announced their separation on October 2, 2021. After this, he married actress Shobhita Dhulipala in 2024.
Meanwhile, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was later linked to director Raj Nidimoru, with whom she worked with in The Family Man Season 2, and is one half of the filmmaker duo Raj & DK. The two got married on December 1, 2025, through a Linga Bhairav marriage ceremony at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore.
